The Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association helps our members improve their skills and service delivery through education, resources and networking. Continued professional growth and development is ensured through our evolving evidence-informed curriculum,access to information on best practices, and opportunities to collaborate and learn from peers.

Built on a long history and reputation for excellence,we are the community for advancing orthopaedic physiotherapy in Canada. Orthopaedic Division Education Committee

The Education Committee of the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association is a leader for post graduate orthopaedic training in Canada and promotes excellence in the field of Physiotherapy through education. We advance and evolve our curriculum based on an evidence informed model so physiotherapists can improve treatment and assessment skills, access best practices and collaborate with a community of expert professionals. Our long history of excellence, highly qualified instructors, and rigorous examination process ensures professional growth and development through training that is globally recognized and International Federation of Orthopaedic Manipulative Physical Therapists (IFOMPT) accredited.

Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA) manages the largest, most secure professional liability and malpractice insurance program in Canada. With over 10,000 policy holders, they represent more than half of all practitioners, giving them by far the deepest pool of resources to protect you.
