This protocol has been trialed clinically in patients with symptomatic atraumatic degenerative rotator cuff disease including partial thickness tears and full thickness tears. It is modified from the Watson multidirectional instability exercise program and planned by Lynn Watson. There is an upcoming randomized controlled trial study.

Case Study

Mrs. R is a 37 year old female athlete presenting with acute right shoulder pain which started after two consecutive days of trapeze training. The pain is described as a constant deep ache in the anterior-lateral shoulder joint. Pain is worse with activity and at night. Aggravating activities include raising her arm above her head, reaching behind her back and gripping.
