Full or part-time physiotherapist
Citrus Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation has two busy, growing multidisciplinary clinics in Mimico with four physiotherapists, two chiropractors, one massage therapist, 17 physicians, a naturopathic doctor, a dietician.
Recently, we completed a renovation, so it’s a bright new facility with a rehab gym. There are both open concept and private treatment spaces available. We have a full complement of modalities available, but our focus is manual therapy and exercise-based rehabilitation.
The rehabilitation professionals do structured biweekly multidisciplinary education sessions to establish best practices and practice manual therapy skills. The clinic director is an FCAMPT who is available for regular mentorship.
Our physicians and rehabilitation professionals work together to optimize patient outcomes. Patients seeing their family doctor or a walk-in doctor for an MSK complaint can expect to meet a physiotherapist same day, as our doctors routinely consult the rehabilitation staff for their expertise as part of the referral process. Our rehabilitation professionals recognize each other’s strengths and generously support each other’s practices.
-The ideal candidate would be a confident physiotherapist with an aptitude for manual therapy who is committed to continuing education in the Orthopaedic Division curriculum.
-It’s helpful if you’re familiar with various sports, fitness and strength training.
-Commitment to quality patient education is necessary.
-Pelvic health training or interest in this continuing education is a strong asset as we get upwards of 150 pregnant or postpartum mothers coming through the medical clinic weekly.
Part-time and full-time positions are available today.
