Full-Time Physiotherapist

We are seeking a physiotherapist to join our growing healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing, evaluating, and delivering the clinical needs of our patients to develop adequate treatment plans within an integrative team including chiropractors, massage therapists, and personal trainers. You will work with our patients to deliver physical therapy, manual therapy, and therapeutic exercises designed to manage MSK injuries, prevent MSK injuries, assist the patient in accelerating recovery, and to improve performance.

Physiotherapist Duties and Responsibilities
• Collaborate with patient’s doctor for referrals, notes, and reports
• Review and evaluate patient through medical history, physical exam, review diagnostic tests, and regular re-assessments.
• Create and implement treatment care plans tailored to each patient’s needs
• Establish patient goals and benchmarks
• Discuss patients’ goalposts with patients’ physicians, surgeons, and healthcare team

Physiotherapist Requirements and Qualifications
• Master’s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (PT or DPT) degree
• Certified and licensed to work in Ontario by the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
• Two years experience working in healthcare or physical rehabilitation setting
• Additional training in Medical Acupuncture, FRC, FMS, SFMA, DNS a plus
• Encouraging to medical team and patients; able to mentor and lead
• Able to perform CPR or additional emergency procedures if needed
• Good interpersonal skills and communication with a wide variety of patients, medical staff, and caregivers
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel), proficient in Janeapp EMR.
