Citrus Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation has two busy, growing multidisciplinary clinics in Mimico with four physiotherapists, two chiropractors, one massage therapist, 17 physicians, and a host of allied health professionals.
We also have two obstetrician/gynecologists and a growing team of pelvic physiotherapists.
We have open concept gym space ideal for sports rehab, as well as private treatment spaces available. There’s a full complement of modalities including shockwave therapy. Our focus is manual therapy and exercise-based rehabilitation.
The rehabilitation professionals do structured biweekly education sessions and the clinic director is an FCAMPT who is available for regular mentorship. We also do monthly rounds and multidisciplinary education sessions with the whole team.
Our physicians and rehabilitation professionals work together to optimize patient outcomes. Patients seeing their family doctor or a walk-in doctor for an MSK complaint can expect to meet a physiotherapist same day, as our doctors routinely consult the rehabilitation staff for their expertise as part of the referral process. Our rehabilitation professionals recognize each other’s strengths and generously support each other’s practices.
