Orthopaedic Division Clinical Update

The Orthopaedic Division Clinical Update (ODCU) provides a forum for informed commentary within the Orthopaedic physiotherapy community in Canada formally through written contributions and informally by encouraging thought and dialogue within the readership. Each issue includes article and abstract re-prints and original written commentary from physiotherapists dedicated to a topic clinically pertinent to Orthopaedic physiotherapy. Also included in the publication is a list of upcoming continuing education courses and news regarding the political issues confronting the Division. The ODCU is published four times a year and has a readership of more than 4,500 Orthopaedic members worldwide. Input from the membership is always encouraged.

Journal of Orthopaedic & Sports Physical Therapy

The Journal of Orthopaedic & Sports Physical Therapy® (JOSPT®) publishes scientifically rigorous, clinically relevant content for physiotherapists and others in the health care community to advance musculoskeletal and sports-related practice globally. To this end, JOSPT features the latest evidence-based research and clinical cases in musculoskeletal health, injury, and rehabilitation, including physical therapy, orthopaedics, sports medicine, and biomechanics.

With an impact factor of 2.55, JOSPT is among the highest ranked physical therapy journals in Thomson Reuters’s Journal Citation Reports, Science Edition (2015). JOSPT stands seventh of 65 journals in the category of rehabilitation, fourteenth of 74 journals in orthopaedics, and fourteenth of 82 journals in sport sciences. JOSPT’s 5-year impact factor is 3.54.
