Course description

Modern Dry Needling: The AN-IMS Masterclass

The all-in-one intensive dry needling certification course. Build your skills. Strengthen your practice. Treat with confidence.

AN-IMS (Anatomical Intramuscular Stimulation) is an intensive 4-day, hands-on dry needling course created for practitioners who have not taken any IMS/Dry needling courses previously, are new to this application of dry needling or need an approved course to roster in their province. This includes those who have previous acupuncture training. AN-IMS instructs participants in the neuropathic clinical reasoning framework, enabling the practitioner to safely treat across patient populations using IMS. In this course participants will gain the assessment skills and significant practical experience applying IMS/dry needling to treat the whole body.

AN-IMS is the equivalent of parts 1 and 2 of other dry needling programs. The entire body including entire spine, skull, jaw, entire lower extremity, and entire upper extremity are covered in this comprehensive 4-day course. You will be able to apply for rostering following successful completion of ANIMS

Key Learning Objectives for AN-IMS
• To comprehensively review anatomical structures and regional restrictions to determine appropriate patient selection for the application of Dry needling/IMS (AN-IMS).
• To understand and apply neuropathic theory and the FHE clinical reasoning framework to successfully perform Intramuscular Stimulation (AN-IMS) on your patient populations.
• To safely and effectively treat the whole body using Dry needling/AN-IMS including neck pain, back pain, TMJ dysfunction, headache, shoulder impingement, rotator cuff pain, plantar fasciitis, shoulder impingement, rotator cuff pain, FAI and more!

This is the most efficient way to get your dry needling certification without the fluff. One course. Whole body. Fully rostered
