Registered Physiotherapist – Part-Time Workplace MSK Opportunity | London, ON

Joint Health is looking for a Registered Physiotherapist to join a growing workplace healthcare program in London, Ontario.

This is a unique opportunity to provide one-to-one physiotherapy care directly within a large (300-400 employees) professional workplace, with access to an excellent clinical environment including a private treatment room, dedicated gym, and open studio space for assessment, exercise and active rehabilitation.

The physiotherapist will provide a recurring four-hour clinical block approximately once per week. The weekday and timing can be arranged around the successful candidate’s existing schedule, making this an excellent complement to another clinical position or private practice.

Employees book individual physiotherapy appointments and present with the types of musculoskeletal concerns commonly encountered in outpatient practice. Practitioners maintain their clinical independence and determine the appropriate assessment and treatment approach for each patient.

The available space supports both hands-on and active care, including:

– Private treatment room
– Dedicated gym and rehabilitation equipment
– Large studio / movement space
– Individualized exercise prescription and progressive rehabilitation
– Manual therapy and other evidence-informed MSK treatment approaches

Why Joint Health?

Joint Health is developing a multidisciplinary model that brings regulated healthcare practitioners directly into workplaces.

We take care of the operational side of the program, including booking, payment processing and administrative systems, allowing practitioners to focus on patient care.

This position offers:

– Flexible scheduling
– Competitive fee-split compensation
– One-to-one patient appointments
– Professional private treatment space
– Access to gym and active rehabilitation areas
– Minimal administrative burden
– An established workplace population with significant potential for the caseload to grow
– The opportunity to help shape a growing model of workplace physiotherapy

Who We’re Looking For:

Applicants must be registered and in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario and carry appropriate professional liability insurance.

We are particularly interested in physiotherapists who enjoy orthopaedic and musculoskeletal practice, combine clinical reasoning with active rehabilitation, and are comfortable practicing independently.

Additional orthopaedic education, manual therapy training, dry needling, sport rehabilitation experience or progression through the Orthopaedic Division AIM program would be welcome, but is not required.

New graduates with a strong interest in MSK physiotherapy are encouraged to apply.

Interested?

If this sounds like an interesting addition to your clinical week, we’d be happy to tell you more about the program and show you the London treatment space.
