Orthopaedic Division Student Award

Purpose Of The Award

The Orthopaedic Division (OD), a division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association offers an annual award valued at $250 to a student from each entry to practice Physical Therapy Program in Canada. The award will be given to a student who has demonstrated exceptional leadership and an interest in orthopaedics. The award will be in the form of a certificate towards a syllabus course offered by the NOD, to be used within two years of receipt.

Each year, one award will be offered to a graduating student who:

  1. Has completed the requirements of an entry to practice physical therapy program in Canada
  2. Is deemed to be the highest ranked student based on a combination of the candidate’s demonstration of leadership, advocacy, and interest in orthopaedics.
