It has been a busy fall and we wish to thank our loyal members for their valuable input into our survey regarding the future relationship of our division with CPA Congress. The information is being tallied as I write this report….stay tuned for the answers.
Exciting times are happening over the next year: IFOMPT 2012 is being held in Quebec City in late September. We truly hope that the OPD and Canadian physiotherapists will be well represented in both the academic and participation platforms. Our manual therapy education system continues to evolve with the dedicated work of the education committee, the examiners, and the instructors. They strive to present students with updated information and clinical pearls, which make our educational system one of the most respected systems in the world. Over the next few months, the division executive will be sending you a survey in order to seek your input on your educational needs. We are very proud of our manual therapy educational system, but we also realize that as primary care providers we need a variety of educational experiences to ‘fill our boots’. We hope to receive input from as many members as possible and we thank-you in advance for your time.
