Lauren Roberts – Clinic Founder and Physiotherapist, Lauren has been running for over 15 years. In the past, Lauren competed heavily in triathlons and had the opportunity to race on the world stage in 2015 at the Ironman 70.3 World Championships in Austria. She has been racing half marathons and marathons for many years, including the Boston Marathon in 2018. She is currently training for two 25 and 28-km trail races this summer! Lauren developed the Real Running Course in 2020 and the Kids Running Course in collaboration with Kids Physio Group in 2022. Her goal in creating the course is to provide a reliable and strategic platform for practitioners to use when treating runners that improves both their clinical outcomes and helps them to grow their caseload
Ryan Shea is the owner of South Simcoe Physiotherapy and an FCAMPT therapist with almost 20 years of experience. Ryan is a lecturer in the advanced orthopaedic elective course for second year PT students at McMaster University (where he graduated from) and is also an adjunct lecturer at University of Toronto in the Physiotherapy program. As an avid runner himself, Ryan enjoys treating the running population and has qualified for and ran both the Boston and Chicago Marathons which is currently his favourite distance. More recently, he has taken an interest in trail running and now thinks that an ultra-marathon may be in his future. He enjoys working with runners of all ages and skill levels but has a passion for working with masters runners looking to “level up”.
