Course description

This course is designed for allied health clinicians who want to improve diagnostic confidence and clinical decision-making when managing acute knee injuries.

The knee is one of the most commonly injured joints seen in clinical practice, yet accurate assessment can be challenging, especially when differentiating between ligamentous, meniscal, and other intra-articular pathologies. This course focuses on sharpening your ability to assess, diagnose, and confidently manage these cases in a busy clinical setting.

What You’ll Learn:
– A structured, efficient approach to acute knee assessment (“assess to diagnose” framework)
– Key historical patterns that guide clinical reasoning and help narrow differentials early
– High-yield orthopedic tests and how to perform them with precision
– How to interpret your findings and connect history with physical exam results
– When to manage conservatively vs. when to refer for further imaging or surgical consult
– Case-based learning to reinforce real-world application and clinical decision-making

This course is built for clinicians who have a foundation in musculoskeletal care but want to move beyond treatment-based thinking and develop stronger diagnostic & clinical reasoning skills. You’ll walk away with a clearer clinical framework that improves confidence, efficiency, and accuracy when evaluating acute knee injuries.

Course Format:
– Hands-on, case-based learning
– Small group environment to allow for individualized feedback and discussion
– Practical, immediately applicable strategies you can integrate into your clinic right away

Who Should Attend:
