MASTERING THE SHOULDER ADVANCED
Level II: Advanced Orthopedics
The second level of our two day workshops offering a broad range of advanced skills and treatment strategies for ‘hard to treat’ shoulder conditions.
This course is a must for any physiotherapist wanting to further their skills in shoulder disorders and is also a prerequisite for attending the Specialty course.
Integrated and confirmatory examination skills will be taught, including instability testing of the shoulder. Further your special test knowledge and diagnostic skills!
A complete review of ‘hard to treat’ shoulder disorders will be discussed in this course including current exercise management, return to sport decisions and key rehabilitation techniques covering four important clinical topics:
– Shoulder Replacements – anatomical and reverse
– Anterior Dislocation Management
– Calcific Tendinopathy
– Scapular Dyskinesis (primary and secondary)
These topics will complete the main shoulder component (Level I & Ii) of the Mastering the Shoulder Series.
NEW! – Integrated Case Studies (ICS I & II) will be presented in the course to challenge both your diagnostic and management skills covering both Level I and II topics.
