Course description

Modern Dry Needling: Anatomical Neuropathic Intramuscular Stimulation (AN-IMS)

AN-IMS (Anatomical Intramuscular Stimulation ) is an intensive 4-day, hands-on dry needling course created for practitioners who have not taken any IMS/Dry needling courses previously, are new to this application of dry needling or need an approved course to roster in their province. This includes those who have previous acupuncture training. AN-IMS instructs participants in the neuropathic clinical reasoning framework, enabling the practitioner to safely treat across patient populations using IMS. In this course participants will gain the assessment skills and significant practical experience applying IMS/dry needling to treat the whole body.

ANIMS is the equivalent of parts 1 and 2 of other dry needling programs. The entire body including entire spine, skull, jaw, entire lower extremity, and entire upper extremity are covered in this comprehensive 4-day course. You will be able to apply for rostering following successful completion of ANIMS
