Course description

On Point Physical Therapy’s Lower Quadrant Dry Needling Course is a hands-on, practical training program designed to build foundational needling skills for clinicians at any stage of their career. Rooted in years of clinical experience, this course combines interactive lectures, small group discussions, and extensive lab-based partner practice to ensure safe, confident, and effective integration of dry needling into patient care.
Taught by experienced physical therapists, the course focuses on clean needle technique, safety, and clinical reasoning, with hands-on instruction targeting the lumbar spine, posterior hip, quadriceps, hamstrings, adductors, lower leg, and foot. With small class sizes and a supportive learning environment, participants leave equipped with the skills, confidence, and clinical insight to immediately apply dry needling in their practice.

Our dry needling training is divided into two modules: the Lower Quadrant course (foundational) and the Upper Quadrant course (advanced). This two-part structure allows participants to develop essential skills in the lower quadrant before progressing to more technical and complex applications in the upper quadrant. To ensure a solid foundation, an online theoretical module must be completed prior to the course
